More than half a century ago, a Swiss engineer George de Mestral presented to the world his brilliant invention – a pair of lineal fabric strips which could magically stick two opposing surfaces in order to be fastened. Since then, hook-and-loop fasteners (become) indispensable components in a great number of industries, from shoes to space shuttles.

Founded in 1987, Fook Cheong Trading Sdn Bhd is a dedicated supplier and distributer of prime quality magic tape under a renowned Taiwanese brand namely Lovetex which is designed and produced for various industrial purposes.

It has been 20 years since the company was established and led by Mr. Liew Siew Fook, an experienced professional and businessman in Malaysia. Having started as a modest start-up which was primarily focused on supply of touch tapes for shoes manufacturers, Fook Cheong Trading gradually extended its business interests to distribute high quality hook-and-loop fasteners to other industries. Today, under the stewardship of the Head of Marketing Mr. Nicholas Liew, the company has been able to fulfil and distribute a great variety of magic tapes produced to a diverse range of industrial needs, be it for medical equipment, home and office furniture, military uniform and many others. Decade-long experience has enabled the company to gain proven track records through offering only high quality and certified products, Fook Cheong Trading does not compromise on the quality and safety of its products.

-Authorisation certificate issued by TESTEX AG, Swiss Textile Testing Institute, according to Oeko-Tex Standard 100, product class 1 for baby articles, and titled “Tested For Harmful Substances”
-Authorisation certificate issued by Honenstein Textile Testing Institute GmbH & Co. KG, Germany proving harmlessness of the products to human health
